NIGHT SCHOOL SPECIAL: Curing Venison with Somerset Charcuterie & The Ethicurean

Course Price: £250 / £230 (TOCS / Market Maker members) including all materials, food and drinks (plus booking fee).
Learn how to butcher venison, cure meat and produce salami with one of our best food producers, Somerset Charcuterie. Particpants will have a tour of Somerset Charcuterie HQ and enjoy a full day of hands-on learning followed by supper at the nearby renowned Ethicurean Restaurant.
You’ll also receive a home curing kit to take away with you and a selection of the cured meats you prepare over the course of the day will be sent to your once they are ready. All materials, equipment, supper and a talk on fermentation at the Ethicurean and lunch at Somerset Charcuterie HQ are included in the price of this amazing one-off course.

Night School is a series of evening taster classes taking place at The Old Church School in Frome.

We’ve put together a selection of designers, makers, craftspeople and food producers to share their skills with you and offer hands-on experiences in a supportive and social atmosphere. All abilities are welcome.
