A Little Night Market 26th Nov CANCELLED

It is with deepest regret that we have decided to cancel A Little Night Market on Friday 26th November, due to a YELLOW WARNING OF WIND, and our concerns for public safety.

We have consulted the Met Office who forecast high winds developing during Friday afternoon and evening, with strong gusts and possible injuries and danger to life from flying debris.

Taking this into account, we cannot guarantee the safety of our market structures and we cannot afford the risks this poses to the public, traders and staff.

We have taken the decision with a very heavy heart and know that this will be very disappointing news for all our traders and visitors, but ultimately we have to put safety first. 

Unfortunately the weather is the one element of running an outdoor event that we simply cannot control.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our last edition of The Frome Independent of 2021 on Sunday 5th December – we hope it will be a sunny winter day.
