Join us on Sunday 1st May at The Frome Independent

We’ve got our fingers crossed for a glorious spring day on Sunday 1st May –  come along and wander the streets of our beautiful town to stock up everything you need to feel zingy and springlike – seasonal greenery, fresh fruit, veg and flowers from Somerset Farmers’ Markets – or find plants, seeds and all the things you could possibly want for your abode in our Homes & Gardens section near the river.

Pop along to The Village Green where you can join the wonderful Morag to make mini maypoles and other springtime crafts, accompanied by our friends at the Vintage Mobile Disco who’ll have your Sunday soundtrack sorted with their impeccable selection of vintage vinyl.

All of this, plus your favourite fantastic street-food, talented designer-makers and wonderful vintage traders.

Throughout the day we’ll have fantastic live music on the Market Place Stage – here’s the lineup:

11:00 -11:30 The Lucky Pierres
11:45 -12:15 Dexters Extra Breakfast
12:30 -13:30 Hello Hopeville
13:45 -14:15 Freddy Mercer
14:30 -15:00 Amy Bisazza
