Cycling into autumn on 6th October
Join us on Sunday 6th October for an autumnal market that celebrates life on two wheels!
Our October market will be packed with makers, food producers and vintage experts offering you everything from cosy homewares to handcrafted jewellery to award-winning local cider. This month we are working with the amazing team behind Frome’s Missing Links, a local charity that campaign to improve cycling and pedestrian routes in and around Frome. The Missing Links gang will be with us down at the Village Green (outside Frome Library), bringing you market-day activities that celebrate bikes and cycling, as well as sharing information and raising awareness about the vital work they are doing in the town to campaign to improve the Colliers Way route.
Visitors to the market can have a go on one of Frome Town Council’s e-bikes, make a pedal-powered smoothie, and browse the Bike Jumble sale! All donations received on the day will go directly towards Frome Missing Links work, and there will be more information on this from the team on market day. If you’d like to donate any unwanted bikes or bike parts to the Bike Jumble sale, please bring it along to the following points in advance of the market day…
– Oakfield Academy on Tuesday 1st October between 6pm and 7pm.
– Frome Town Hall on Saturday 28th September between 10am and 11am.
Donations can also be brought along on the day, so please contact Frome’s Missing Links for more information: fromemissinglinkevents@gmail.com
