FARMFESTIVAL STAGE TAKEOVER

We are very excited to have our friends, FarmFestival take over the Market Place stage on Sunday 7th May. FarmFestival will bring a host of acoustic acts from their upcoming 2017 programme to market, providing a free festival soundtrack for market-goers.

The Market Place stage has been a fixture at The Frome Independent since 2013, and hosts local acoustic acts and singers from Frome and beyond. The stage is curated by local music producer, Luke Emery of Nomad Audio Solutions, who brings together acts spanning genres from folk and blues to soul and hiphop.

FarmFestival takes place at Gilcombe Farm in Bruton on 28th and 29th July. This fiercely independent festival was started as a weekend party by a group old friends and has grown to become one of the regions best-loved summer festivals. This year’s headliners include Roots Manuva, DJ Yoda, This is the Kit, Nightmares on Wax and even Donna Somerset, The Frome Independent’s resident Vintage Mobile Disco!

Festival goers can also expect acoustic music from local acts such as Jonny Morgan, Two Day Coma and Mae Bradbury, who will be warming up with us on Sunday 7th May.
