Thank you to everyone who has shown support for The Frome Independent and our traders during the lockdown. We are very sad to be putting our monthly markets on hold until further notice, but we will be back with you on the other side of all this, when public gatherings are deemed to be safe again.

We would normally be gearing up for our April market now, sharing posts about all of the incredible makers, craftspeople, vintage traders and food producers who would be joining us. Instead, we have taken our market online, and have created a virtual edition of The Frome Independent for you to visit whenever you want during the lockdown period.

You can now head over to ‘The Market’ section of our website where you’ll find a directory with a huge array of traders who would have been with us this spring. We are so sad not to be able to connect you with this talented bunch face to face, but we hope this is a good substitute. Please do show your support for all these hardworking businesses if you can by sharing the link with your friends, and sharing the love on your social media pages.

The Frome Independent is a not for profit social enterprise, run by a team of Frome residents and supported by some absolutely phenomenal sole traders and businesses. Whilst we may be a little quieter on social media for a while, rest assured that we are still here, and will be back to bring you markets as soon as it’s safe to return.  In the meantime, please stay home, stay safe and be well.
