Market Maker membership is back!  Want to save money on market days, whilst supporting us to do all the things that make us more than a market? Then come join our gang of Market Makers!

Market Maker membership costs just £15, comes with a free Reclaim The Highstreet tote bag (worth £10)  and gets you access to discounts and offers from ALL of our traders, as well as lots of discounts and exclusives from participating Frome shops over the course of a year.

The Frome Independent is a not for profit social enterprise, run by a team of Frome residents. The market exists to nurture independent makers and producers, whilst supporting Frome’s thriving town centre and communities.

Market attract around 80,000 visitors to the town each year, who collectively spend millions of pounds in Frome shops and with our market traders.  Our events are free for visitors to attend with a programme of special events and community and charity fundraising activities, live music, DJs, street performance, workshops and children’s activities.

As a not for profit organisation with no ongoing funding or subsidies, our overheads remain high, but we’re committed to keeping this event free for everyone to attend. Funds raised through the Market Maker membership scheme mean that we can keep the event  – in particular the attractions like the Village Green activities, live music and street performers – free for everyone that attends.
