School’s Out for Summer

Celebrate the summer holidays in style at The Frome Independent. Head to the Village Green for hook a duck, craft colouring competition with Somerbelles and children’s face painting.

As ever you’ll find  hundreds of amazing designer makers, food producers and suitcase traders spread throughout the town centre. Wander down picturesque Catherine Hill, through the market place and across Frome’s historic bridge. Our vibrant Flea market and Homes & Garden quarters fill the Market Yard and lead you to more stalls on Justice Lane and our new Westway area.

Treat yourself to a lunch of delicious street food, inspired by cuisines from Thailand to New York, via Buckland Dinham; all freshly prepared using the best local ingredients.  

As ever, music is at the heart of The Frome Independent. Kick off your shoes and dance to the sounds of Vintage Mobile Disco, browse for vinyl treasure with our flea traders or head to the Market Stage for a great line-up of live music through the day:
