The Frome Independent returns for 2020

It’s almost here!

Come and join us for first of our 2020 markets on Sunday 1st March. Come and explore streets lined with designer-makers, craftspeople, independent businesses, local food producers and delicious street food.

We’ll have the return of the Market Place stage in the centre of town, providing you with live acoustic music throughout the day. Down at the Village Green (next to Frome Library) you’ll find the mighty Vintage Mobile Disco, with a stellar line-up of local DJs playing vintage vinyl. The Village Green is also home to our Sunday Art Club, where children and their grown-ups can get crafty with our resident art workshop leaders.

This month we are working with local charity Fair housing For Frome, a grassroots organisation that began in November 2015 when a group of local people met to discuss the housing crisis in our town.

If you’re visiting from out of town, please check out the VISIT page on our website, which contains all information that you’ll need for getting here. Our Park & Ride service will be back, so if you’re bringing your car, please use the Park & Ride rather than parking in residential streets, as this causes obstructions for residents.
