We are proud to support some of the best farmers, producers and food innovators from Frome and the South West. Complimented by Somerset Farmers’ Market we host more than eighty hot and cold food and drink producers each month, offering a huge range of fresh and cured meats, fish, seasonal fruit and vegetables, artisan breads and cakes, locally brewed beers and ciders and a plethora of regional cheeses. Many of our food traders are experts in their fields and operate postal and local delivery services.

Still Sisters

Our range of London Dry Gin is created using locally grown and sourced botanicals from Somerset. Our award-winning London Dry Gin signature botanical is locally grown watercress from organic beds 5 miles from our distillery in Frome. All our gin is made by us, 2 sisters, in Frome, Somerset in our bespoke copper 50 litre still called Storm.

Rye Bakery

We are a small independent bakery and cafe in Frome. We specialise in organic sourdough breads, made with the finest local and heritage grains and baked in our new retail bakery next to Frome Station. Alongside our bread we offer an array of delicious fresh pastries (both sweet and savoury), cakes and biscuits, with changing flavours championing the finest in seasonal produce.

I first learnt to cook in my father’s restaurant in Australia, but on my travels in Europe I picked up a small job in Biarritz in a small bakery. They said I had a natural ability for pastry, so the rest is history! I make a range of sweet tarts including custard, bakewell, citron, frangipane and fruit pies.

Root Connections Community Garden

A Market Garden with a difference, Root Connections grow fruit, vegetables and flowers and makes preserves, whilst providing a home, support and horticultural activity for homeless people in Mendip. We welcome volunteers and are open to the general public for onsite sales on Tuesdays and Fridays, 10am-1pm.

Redwoods Farm

Redwoods farm raise their pigs, hens and cattle on pasture in a regenerative system, allowing the animals to express all their natural behaviours whilst benefiting the environment. Each species plays a vital role in regenerating and maintaining the ecosystem.
